More specifically it is 500 meters away from the beach, 2.5km from the airport and 8km from Fira, the island’s capital. Kamari offers a wide range of cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, as well as a lively nightlife. The beach has deep and blue water, the sand is black and there is a lifeguard on duty. It is organized, with sun beds, umbrellas, water sports and diving. It has also been awarded the Blue Flag.
